The taste is mainly in the way human's taste buds were evolved into, or if you're religious, created as, if you were to feed, lets say chicken, to another animal on Earth(humans are scientifically considered animals if you didn't know) it may or may not like it. Fire is useful for cooking, keeping warmth, and scaring animals away. If you were to go to a forest full of animals, you'd want fire to keep you warm and to scare away animals at night..If you think it was only to cook, what do you think the fireplace is for?

I don't mind them too much. They sent me some address lables with my name on it. Some have the "PETA" logo...I just threw those ones out. But most of them have bunnies and chickens and stuff on them, so I don't mind
