    Default a game to replace wow...

    hey, thinking of quitting wow if i find a game i can STICK to and play like i did with wow, played wow for about 3 years and im finally quitting. i just dont want to hop around game to game downloading 30+ gigs a month and uninstalling 30+ gigs a month.

    can anyone list a good mmorpg that is FREE to play that i can stick to? (i like group party instances and raids etc.)

    specs: 1.9ghz, 1gig ram, turion 64X2

    mmm yeh i just want a game i can run without lag, thanks and sorry if in the wrong section. (dont a fan of a mass child-anime game)

    It took me >forever< to get adjusted to F2P's once again, but you could try Dragonica.

    You'll fill up those 5 months just fine, trying to find a replacement for WoW. :3

    Atlantica Online would be my only suggestion to you, but it's probably not the type of game you're looking for.

    Really. Above posters tell the truth. Dont even waste your time. Take a break from the game for a few weeks. Then Roll a new char or something, just did this. Feels good man.

    dont try rom or 4 story.When you played wow like me ..you will be bored really fast (after some days or a week)

    Jade dynasti is not really a good game but if you like it..
    atlantica is a good game but i heard its really cash shop depending

    then download the english client http://www.gamershell.com/download_46840.shtml (really fast ) and then join ^^ There is only 1 Server in the english version but a lot of channels and there are always players around

    you can add me. Zhoul - Knight lvl 21. I can help you to get into the game and give you some nice items and you can join the onrpg guild too.Lot of nice people around

    In Dragonica ? There's no need for tanking there, just play any of the classes and you'll do good.

    u should try Runes of Magic the gameplay looks alot like WoW and RoM(Runes of Magic) has almost the same features as WoW its f2p with CS
    i know ppl that came to play RoM when they were quiting WoW some say this game is even better

    then play warri and then it depends on you what you want. When you are lvl 20 you can change job .Warri = Gladitor (dmg dealer + good armor ) or Knight (best armor + most health in game)

    knights use 1 hand swords with shields and gladi use a 2 hand sword (mostly)

    in my opinion you can tank with both classes ^^ depends on your play styl + skills

    One definite tip I have to say- DO NOT PLAY RUNES OF MAGIC. Anybody who has played WoW and goes to playing Runes of Magic will be so, very disappointed.

    Game suggestions:
    Guild Wars (only thing that I think can compete with WoW in its genre).
    Diablo 2
    Trickster Online
    Ragnarok Online
    Anarchy Online
    Pretty much anything away from the 3D fantasy genre.

    There is a few Onrpg members playing 4story, but if you want something close to WoW and also the best F2P MMO in my opinion then go with Runes of Magic.
    But remember you get what you pay for.

    If you enjoy PVE I would recommend Everquest 2 or Lord of the Rings Online. Personally I would avoid any F2P like cancer. Most are horrible beyond belief and the ones that have potential to be good are laden with poor communities (worse than WoW), bloated cash shops, poor support and the really unsure longevity of the games.
