Not to forget:
Bigger HD makes up a huge portion of the price difference too.
Both have low *** resolution of 1280 x 800 though, which makes them a bad choice imo.
In your position, if you stick with your choices, I would really for once follow the manual and make a recovery CD instantly after getting the laptop and doing battery calibration etc.
It's not a big deal.
