Default Looking for Opinions/Reviews of RoM

Looking at the website, videos and duel class system I am thinking about playing this. But I want to know from people who have actually played it before if it is fun.

My idea of fun? Low grind, Fun PvP, Cool dungeons, Actually having stuff to do at max level (Raids, Events, etc).

I have heard that the cash shop is pretty bad so one more question I have is it possible to have fun PvP and Raid without cash shop?

Thanks in advance for any help

From what I know, the PvP is pretty pointless if you're not a cash-shopper. However, the rest of the game looks better than your average MMO.

First off, grind. There is but its not bad. The max level is 50 so of course the game is grindy. However max level can easily be made in like 1-2 weeks if you quest along the way.

Now is it fun. Hell yeah. Its played like WoW so you got PvP, Raids, and all that awesome end game stuff.

CS is what is bad. Thought overpowering its easy to know who has and doesn't use them. So I just ignore those that do have them and fight with those that don't.

You can have raiding with CS (sometimes) some monsters and actually hardcore and require strategy if you are gonna non CS. PvP is either fun or not depending on the situation.

RoM is the most discussed and asked about game in these forums. There has been countless threads asking the same question. Here are some I found using the search button.

I agree with Mordar :P I still regret playing on a PvP server.... don't take me wrong, PvP with non CS users is really fun since classes seem to be well balanced, but those few overpowered CS users ruined the game for me.

Again, roll on a PvE server xD

For non hardcore players hitting 50 with one of your classes isn't really that hard and can be done in a month. Oh and another tip, level your primary class first and do your dailes to level your secondary :P
I can't remember what the level gap for completing quests was, you gotta find that out yourself. Anyways do the high level dailies -> change to your secondary and get the reward. That way you can level your secondary class fairly quick and you won't have to grind all day long
