Has anyone read "Y the last man" and "Sandman"? If not, then I would recommend them, though both have some cases nudity.

That has been the only comic I've been keeping my eyes on and regularly bought.

If you can recommend me something thats similar using not-traditional heroes (like superman batman, you know the ones non-nerds can name), please ^^.

Graphic novels are comics. Same thing.

They're essentially the equal of movies. If regular comics are a series, that is.
    such as?

and i dont really feel excited bout reading them, they are pretty much immortal, they WILL win in the end, you know it so its like you already know what will happen, and with no possibility of dieing makes it pointless for me.

Eh? Who are we talking about not dieing here? I hope you don't mean the heroes in general. ._.

I also dabbled in a little bit of everything, DC and Marvel, but I prefer the Uncanny X-Men.

That's cool and everything, but probably reserve judgement until you have experienced comics properly, because that assessment is so far off that it almost didn't warrant a response.

Especially considering that the current state of Marvel is that the bad guys are slyly controlling everything. It's been heading that way for ages.

Speaking of which, I think I've figured out one of the new releases that's going to be at comic con.

I have a hunch that Old Man Logan is getting another issue soon. :x
Well..less of a hunch and more of a prayer. I just started with OML not very long ago and it's amazing.

That'd actually be a pretty hefty shift; Cyclops being a bad guy.

He's been an integral part of the unshakeable Marvel good guy club for ages. It might be needed to actually make the dude interesting. It'd also introduce an element of "How well can the X-Men do without two of their strongest cornerstones? Old (Scott) and recent (Emma)".

    Cannot see it happening, though.

Oh right my bad Dark Avengers #2
The Sentry is regarded as one of the strongest in Marvel, but he hasn't done much to prove it. He's had a pretty hardcore stalemate with Hulk, though.

For someone who claimed to deny my place as OnRPG's resident comics expert...you don't know much.

I think that X-Men is one of the harder Marvel Series to start in, being that they're usually long..

Even so, I think Astonishing X-men, or The Uncanny X-men would be a good jump off point. But like I said. They're kind of drawn out. D:

As far as the intimidating thing goes, it's kind of awkward to get into unless you've started early. Elitists left and right might nag your head off at times, and it could get overwhelming trying to keep up with issue after issue, back orders and first appearances. But there are ways around that, like sliding out a couple of buckaroos to see them online, etc. Though it's easy to get started with help.

Trust us, We won't bite. <3
