Default Would this graphic card work on my motherboard?

My friend gave me his graphic card because he had no use of it and I was wondering if a Radeon 9550XL 256MB would work on my Asus P4S533-VL motherboard. I don't know much about computer so tell me if I'm missing any information. Also, Don't tell me the graphic card sucks or whatever you hate . Please and thank you .

I'm afraid not, I'm pretty sure your MB has a PCI slot and the Radeon 9550XL uses an AGP slot.

From what I've found out that mobo does in fact have an AGP slot.

I couldn't find any info about your motherboard on the net.. Just check inside your case, the top one on this picture is AGP, the bottom one is PCI:
