I was thinking about playing Latale while I wait for Aion to be release.
I wanted to know if Latale is worth my time?
Is it easy to lvl?
What level do I change jobs?

Reputation: 12Assuming it's like I last played before they changed hosts; The game is pretty good. Leveling seems to start stacking around lvl 40. You class change at 80. There's assorted equipment and skills to customize your character with.
It's like Maplestory with a more polished battle system and more humanoid-shaped avatars. I personally played a Warrior who was going to be a Berserker(or w/e the greatsword class was.) But the grind got to me eventually and I just dropped.
Reputation: 13I find it really fun, but most people drop the game towards a higher level. It gets pretty challenging if you don't have proper friends or a guild to play with. I still enjoy the game on my lvl 85 treasure hunter, and with all of my fast ranged dagger moves, the gameplay is relatively fast paced
leveling is pretty easy.
I enjoyed it for quite a while, much longer than most mmorpgs I play. I think I stopped because I didn't like my class, then I got frustrated and quit all together.
I've tried to play recently, but there is a huge delay when I play. I will press my right arrow key and my character moves half a second later. Its REALLY annoying. They "fixed" the ladder bug recently as well, but it doesn't feel as seemless as it should. Feels like you glitch to the top of it or something.
Also, I don't like any of the towns. It's not like some maplestory towns where everything is spread out, maybe vertically so you have to jump to get somewhere. No, you just have to WALK to get to whatever you are going to. Everything is on a horizontal stretch of town.
Give it a try though if your internet permits it, you may not have the same problems I have with it.
The OGplanet version is the most updated, but is the one that I played, with the delay issues for me. Aeria games has the EU version CBT going on right now, I read that it is much less laggy, even for people from the USA (like me)
they never changed hosts
Pretty fun. Pvp is very addicting.
Are there flashy skills? Cause now I am wrapped in.. T-T
Reputation: 162fun, but laggy. . . dunno why either
listening to comments from a bunch of lowbies won't help you, i suggest you try instead of asking how good it is because opinions changes upon each person.
Reputation: 28It's a very fun game. I got to level 36, but quit because the leveling was slow. It's quests based, which is nice, but you have to grind at one point. Plus last time I played the game was overrun by noob engineers that KSed and wouldn't shut up.
Reputation: 13Ive heard that the game is laggy about 9999 times, but i myself, living on the west coast don't experience a single hint of lag in OGP's version of latale. If your living out of california, you'd probably have better luck with aeria's
and in response to the flashy skills, i post this youtube video
Thanks for the skill display.. dunno what class to roll once done dling now.. Which class is good but has the flashiest skills? I can't tell >.<
Reputation: 13Those skills aren't released yet, and could even be fake for all i know. So far, the flashiest class would probably have to be one of the mages. ( or engineer? )
LaTale is fun. There are a bunch of quest from levels 1 to 60. It starts to lag behind around 65 to 70. Sooner or later you're going to have your grind your way up through high levels. But the thing about the game is that there are constant updates coming out with new quest, so you'll always have something to do. I just came back after a long break (I stopped playing when my Templar Knight hit 120), and re-rolled an Engineer class and so far I'm loving it all the way. There are new quest, new areas, etc, etc, etc.
If you want a hard hitting damage dealer, get a Warrior to Warlord. If you want fast paced attacks go either Blader or Gunslinger. The hardest hitting class in the game is Treasure Hunter with Crossbow. Casters I'm not a fan of, but Bards are good since they never die (heals and buffs). Guardians are good damage dealers with good defense, if you like flashy techniques and fighting with your fist and doing kicks and stuff, go Knight to Guardian. If you want to be unstoppable and pretty much take no damage, you'd get a Templar Knight.
Also, I live in Maryland on the East Coast and I rarely lag, ever. People who complain about lag have a horrible connection.
