Runes of Magic pvp...and other stuff

i have been checkin out posts and reading stuff about RoM ..i even have watched some vids of it. looks hella cool ..i love WASD and the rogue class..but my question is what is the pvp like? is it open? is there a server for it?

also, is there other things to do besides fight?..and i dont mean "crafting" which is a word i hate.. i mean can i fish? can i mine? what about swimming? is there monsters in the water? what other things like this are there to do? i have seen games with mini games and gambling and such..is there anything SIMILAR to that?

If you don't cashshop and you go on the PvP server you can only seal 8 equipped items, if you get PK'd you have a chance to drop any item that isn't sealed.

That's why I don't play Runes of Magic.

i enjoyed the game for a while. everything about it is well made and high quality. I played on the PVP server though, and I was killed by my first cash shopper, twice in a row. He was lower level than me, but had 2k more hp. It was rediculous

If you want to PvP in RoM, use lots of CashShop.
Otherwise, play on PvE server.
Or find other game.

Yep, there's 1v1 arenas, 3v3s, and this Canyon instanced Battleground with I'm not sure how many people. But I hear Server vs Server PvP is coming in some time.

Cash shop doesn't give them the ability to "one-shot" you. You can have gear on equivalency of theirs through in game means.

yeah sure, but I think it was arcdevil who stated it would take the equivalent of more than 3 months of farming to get it withouth cash shop than the cash shopper getting it in less than a week

and the part about dropping my equipment on pvp?, no thanks, I'm not "hardcore nerdrager" enough

and I would personally just take a P2P over micro transactions, I would end up spending the same in the long run anyways

You obviously haven't played the game, and listening to what others tell you is clearly the way to know what the game is all about.
