MMORPG with the Best Community

Search isn't working.

Which mmorpg has the best community and is still going. I've been trying to get into a game but the community is what makes a game strong.

I would have said Conquer Online but now the community plain out sucks. The community was good before because of guilds. So many guilds had fights so you were basically always on one side or another. This got the guild itself together.It encouraged me to play more because I wanted to be a valuable player in my guild and etc.

So: Which mmorpg has the best community and is still going

Ragnarok Online has a pretty good community, and I was helped established into the game.

I heard that 4story had a great community, but Fiesta Online has a pretty good community.

The worst community is probably Zu Online, just a bunch of kids cussing.

Kal Online had a great community the last time I saw it. Sure, there's quite a few hackers and such, but the community is nice.

Or at least they were about a year ago.

Mabinogi's community isn't TERRIBLE. There's a few nice people here-and-there. Shame that there are so many elitist pricks running about who will not group with you if you don't have skill X at level Y or something like that. Though their numbers seem to be thinning out these days.

WYD Global community is good too. They even have their own Per Country Community Scouts to help out players.

Like other have already stated, I think Ragnarok Online has the best community in the F2P cathegory. Lots of botters on the valkyria server thought, but most people are very helpfull and nice.

Out of F2p's i got to say Atlantica.....back when i used to play the community was pritty dam big and people were always nice i mean i never got into those fights with people calling them noob and crap lmao

I find it really stupid that people on Maple care more about their damage and being better than everyone else than they do about having fun.

Also, the community is full of whiny 12 year olds that think they're top shit.

Also, even though it hasn't even gone into CB yet, Dungeon Fighter Online's community has gone down the crapper already.

Only game that comes to mind is FFXI out of the countless MMO's that I have played or tried. Never really got into EVE much but seems like a good community there from the time I spent playing. As for F2P none.

I haven't played very many MMOs for an extended period of time, but I can give you my experiences with the ones I have played:

FlyFF - overall a community of idiotic, non-English speaking ******s who are impossible to chat and make intelligible conversation with. I guarantee you will rage on the forums every day from nubs asking the same questions over and over again, like "WHY I CANT LOG IN?!?!?!" during maintenance. However, the game does have a HUGE community so you are bound to find a good guild of fun people sooner or later.

Ragnarok Online - Pretty much same as FlyFF.

Sword of the New World - In the 3-4 months I spent playing the game almost daily, I think I spoke to another person maybe once or twice. Once in a while I would see another player running by and I'd be reminded that I was playing a MMO game. Also the forum is dead.

Dragonica (IAH) - Similar to FlyFF, except you can't blame them because the game is for Southeast Asia.

Atlantica Online - Generally the community is very good. There is a general chat where you can speak with anyone in the same level range as you, and generally people are very helpful with questions and grouping. There is also a system that rewards players with experience for gifting newbie players with money and items, as well as a mentor program, all run in-game. Again, your experience will depend on getting into a decent and helpful guild.

Dungeon & Dragons Online - Very mature for the most part. A lot of the players are old school D&D players who are in their 30s and 40s. Just don't expect them to know wtf you mean when you talk about your phat lewtz. The grouping system is also very helpful.

EVE Online - So very ronrey in space...so ronrey...but if you find a good guild (called Corporations) then you're set. For new players I highly recommend Eve University (www.eve-ivy.com) They are a huge corporation that is specifically designed to help out new players. This is probably the best guild I've seen in ANY game. In addition to having very active forums, they supply noobs with gear, and even hold regularly scheduled classes to teach you about the game. The amount of organization and professionalism is staggering.

I have to agree with you Cyber , F2P has a diferent whole level of community that make me want to puke over them.

but I will say EVE have nice one for a P2P and Anarchy too .
