Reputation: 72So awesome. I recently started playing GW again and theres cutscenes but even in a full party im still the only person that has not clicked skip. Everyone else seems to just want to get to the next mission.
Reputation: 11I do read quest dialogs in SP games, because they usually have something to do with an actual storyline. But on MMOs, dear God. I swear some NPCs are simply ******ed:
Farmer: "Hurr durr, 'em Demons of Deadly Oblivion of Bloodlust 've been eating mah crops, kill 150 of 'em and return to me."
I don't bother reading quests anymore.
I just look for what I have to then do it.
Also Wiki = Win!
If a game has a wiki then you can pretty much just click yes yes yes.
She knows how to party.
Yeah its kind of dumb how the whole MMO mentality of finishing quests ASAP and having the most powerful cookie-cutter build kind of discourages people from being innovative or taking the time to stop and smell the roses. I sometimes will read the dialog if it pertains to a main questline. I think my skimming ability has become quite good haha
the only quest dialog i read was when i played maplestory for the first time and i was on the nooby island whatever you call it...but i was 8...and slightly ******ed
I try to read them at the beginning.. then you just start to skip by because you progress slowly if you read everything. :P
Me, Me, Me, GF |&| Me! D;!

Reputation: 132Lol yea tbh i rarely read quest dialogues xD
Reputation: 206I get insanely bored if I don't read quest dialogue. Which is the main reason I dislike repeatable quests. (I'm looking at you LaTale..)
CoH..there isn't a quest I haven't read. Even the radio/newspaper missions are entertaining if you take the time to read it, and put it together with who you're saving. One time Cress Waven got kidnapped. I didn't get it until he said he would make a movie about it.. Lol.
