Default MMO's that always pull you back

    Hey guys,

What are some of the mmorpg's that always pull back into playing again? Even though when you thought you were done with it, you keep coming back to it occasionally now and then.

Some mmorpg's that I keep going back(even though I hate to admitted) are

Cabal - (Fun..but if would be so much better if it was an open world.)

    Maplestory - (sign*.."God help me")

Gunbound - (So repetitive, but it was my first mmo I got into.)

Diablo 2 is the only game that's ever really "brought me back."

Although I frequently login to FlyFF to try and jumpstart my interest. No luck though.

And s4 league I guess, I only go back to check if they have fixed the ******ed lag problem what makes you spike to 300ms when your usally at 20ms.

Runescape - What can I say, I leveled to 134 Combat and around 1800 total before quitting. I log in every now and then and talk to old buddies and my old clan though.

Ragnarok Online - Despite the fact that it's pretty much identical to any other Korean grinder (Yes I said it), I began playing it since iRO was in beta, and been off and on ever since.

World of Warcraft - Don't really need a reason for this one, I see new content being released and I just have to play.

Hm, I've played Anarchy about 4 times now...But it's been awile. Endless Ages I've played both versions since 2003, that was my first serious MMO. I've played that on and off, but it's gone now. Maplestory was one too.

Ragnarok Online. I'm not going to let my dedicated time over what? 6-7 years ever since alpha testing go to waste.

Oh... And my newly anticipated Guild Wars which I got like 4 months ago. It's just so much fun.

A lot of people seem to play Ragnarok Online.

Mu Online was another one's of my favorite MMORPG. I wanted to go back, but looking at it again make me wanna just forget it.

I have a few that always pull me back as well:

    1) *sigh* may as well get the worst out of the way first: MapleStory always pulls me back for absolutely no reason over and over. It's remarkably pathetic because not once have I even reached the first class change (excluding the newby --> whatever change of course) before getting bored and quitting again. I honestly have no idea as to why I've tried enjoying it so many times, I think it must be one of those games I want to like even though I know it's not very good.

    2) WoW (not as bad as people say it is) - This is likely the mmorpg I've spent the most time on, which is odd since I like FF11 a lot more. I quit not once, but twice in the original game and thought I was done for good (and then Burning Crusade came out and 'oh my god Outlands looks so cool I have to buy this!'). Of course, I once again quit less than a year after this only for Blizzard to wheel out Northrend soon after with it's actual storyline (which of course grinds to a halt near the end) and it's new class (which I didn't like as much as my mage) and it's more innovative quests (which hardly matter sicne there's not as many as usual and the endgame up to Ulduar is a complete and total joke in terms of difficulty). So, after my 3rd time (or probably 4th, I'm sure I've forgotten one) quitting WoW I once again rejoined it a few months after the newest expansion came out only to quit (hopefully for good) a few months ago once again.

Diablo 2 - I think most people get a desire to play Diablo 2 again from time to time, so there's not much need for an explanation here (yes I consider it an mmo, you can talk to a very large amount of people when in the lobby and people constantly come and go once in a game and you can interact with them jsut as much as in any other mmo, deal with it)

Guild Wars - A fairly annoying game in which I like some aspects and hate some others so I go back to it form time to time because I never can quite decide if I like it or not.

Final Fantasy XI - The only game on the list outside of Diablo 2 that I have absolutely no problems with wanting to go back to over and over. I've rejoined it a few times, but usually with a friend or two who seem to inevitably always quit within about a month (which in turn kills the whole 'lets form a static party with friends' idea) and sitting around LFG for several hours does take it's toll after a while. That being said, if Final Fantasy XIV turns out to be a game I don't like (and considering how much I absolutely hate 10-2 and 12 not only as Final Fantasy games, but as games in general, that has a fairly high chance of happening) I will very likely once again rejoin FF11.
