    Exclamation XP Will not install

I don't know what happened, but apparently, my girlfriend had gotten the blue screen of death while listening to winamp.

After that, XP refused to work.

I tried reformatting, but to no avail. I've tried 3 different XP cds, and they never get past the blue screen with text on the bottom saying "Setup is now starting..."

Since, I've installed vista twice, ubuntu twice, and have messed around with hackintosh, all of which had no problems installing on the very same HDD.

How I've set my computer up is that my main HDD (60 gb) is split in two. One named Soft and one named Hard. The second of which I never format, as it contains all the files I never want to lose. Soft REFUSES to have windows XP install on it, in any shape or form.

Does anyone have any idea what the hell is going on???

Run Memtest86, RAM was causing my Vista/XP installs to not go past "Setup is now starting..." and after that I got an error and the install crashed. Bought new RAM and everything installed without a hitch.

There any way to run this thing without burning it?
