About time I got my drivers license

I havent really bothered with getting my drivers license, but my dad has finally convinced me to actually go out and take the test.

Hes promised to lease a brand new car in his name if I pass the test within the 3 tries they give you.

Cant pass up that offer, would love to whip a brand new charger or some shit around haha


So does anyone here have their license? is it hard to remember all that stuff, i kinda know some of the stuff like dont turn on red and stuff

but overall is it a ton of stuff you have to remember, or is it pretty simple?

The tests will probably vary depending on the state.

I read the book once the night before the test...passed it no problems.

However, that was a long *** time ago.

Overall they dont care about how good you drive, they care about how carefully and safe you drive. Always check your mirrors, Always use blinkers when turning, even in a parking lot. NEVER go over the speed limit. Other than that its a cakewalk.

I'm sad. My permit has been expired since March and I've still been too lazy to get another and learn to drive
(yes actually learn to drive unlike all you guise who know how before you get a permit cause I suxx :C).

The multiple question part to get your permit is really easy. It's usually the most obvious answer or the largest fine. As for the road test, I took it with my driving school so it was incredibly easy. Left turn onto a vacant street, two right turns, k-turn, backing up, hand signals.

There's silly questions like, a school bus stopping at an intersection. It threw me off because y'know, school buses don't make stops at an intersection.

And apparently you shouldn't go the legal speed limit on a highway orr whatever it was, you should go the same speed as those around you.

The most important things is to not break any laws and drive like they want you to drive. That means not pulling into an intersection until you're ready to turn, etc. Because being stuck in the middle of the intersection when the light turns red is illegal apparently.

i failed the first time, i made it the second time... the only problem was i was real nervious and not confident... everything is real easy. oh and make sure you take it with a automatic because if you stall a standard it is a instant fail.

if you get him to lease a charger then make sure he gets the SRT-8.

man everything about the test was easy as balls. only thing i was worried about was parallel parking and that was easy as balls to. even though i was nervous as balls.

just be careful, dont take chances, dont break laws, dont go over the speed limit, make COMPLETE stops, buckle up before starting car, make sure they buckle, and watch out for those damn cones!

After you've been on the road for a week or two it'll be second nature. I really mean it, it'll happen that fast if you drive a decent amount.

Enjoy having a license while you can; it'll stop being fun eventually, and after that you'll miss the days where you were the one getting rides and not giving them.

Lol, it was beyond easy for me. As in, I didn't even have to take the driving test. I knew that I wouldn't, because I did the parent taught program. And since I'd been doing back-street driving for quite a while, it was no prob(being prepared for actual driving).

It was pretty jocular when I went back to get my actual license, I thought I was going to take another written test, so I had read the book twice more to be ready, but I was surprised after my mom was talking to the worker, and suddenly the employee was like, "Ok, get ready to take your picture."

In canada we have to do a written test then wait a year then do a road test to get our licence and i got it on my first try. On the other hand my friend wasted a grand and 4 tries to pass...I am wishign now that i never got a car tho, i pretty much wasted almost 2 grand in just stupid parking tickets and 1 speeding and one red light...

To me the written portion of the test seemed easy,more like the answers you give came from common sense.I failed the driving portion once because of parallel parking >_> I had to wait 2 weeks,then after that I passed.

Pretty simple, not very hard because it's all common sense with a few exceptions.

I took driver's ed. in school so never had to take the actual driving test. So I guess I passed on the first try? :P

I'm 24 and yet have my license and really don't plan on getting it anytime soon. I can't really afford a car and insurance at this time. I find it funny the people that run out and get their license and a car. Suddenly they start *****ing they have no money anymore taking care of it

I never bothered either. I'm a fine driver...but I'd hate to fail the test. I'd feel like a piece of shit lol.
