oh it was originally better? Because, as I said before, I watched that movie on vhs and I thought it was horrible. Not only did it **** the book, which was very good, but it was just a poorly made movie imo, with very few redeeming features ( I remember Fflewdur Fflamm or however it's spelled being pretty well done)

TBH it was ahead of its time. It was one of the first US movies to use CGI and a few other advancements that were not well known then.

Yes, it was editied to death due to the "problems" Disney had with it. They didnt want it to go PG13 or rated R. It was the first PG movie Disney produced and it still was pulled off the shelf...

I'm also gonna say Toy Story, as a premise.

We all sit and wax lyrical about how we miss our childhood and days gone by because we're getting older and youth is leaving us. What I loved about Toy Story was that it was the same feeling, but from a toy's perspective. We can all reminisce about the toys we had as a kid and the times we had, but what if THEY could?

It all created a really interesting dynamic, in my opinion.

I almost cried in Up, in the first ten minutes of the movie no less. You know its a damn good movie when it can build up enough rapport with the characters to make you depressed when the movie has barely even started.
