Default Whats up with the Gay ads?(No pun intended)

Has anyone noticed some of the ads are advertisements for homosexual dating sites?

anyway to block them, don't want people to get ideas, they're just ads but some people just dont understand.

Nope havent seen any are u talking about this site or sites in general? Sometimes google acts dumb and thinks what your searching or the site your on relates to it and gives you those kind of ads but dunno.

While we are on the subject of ads any noticed the attack of those Evony adverts were they stick a picture of a random model to try and get the attention of sex fiendish geeks =/ they are like EVERYWHERE.

I don't wanna stir up a sh-tstorm here, but that's pretty intolerant. What's there to mis-understand? If you're gay and want a date, you click on it. If not, you ignore it like all the rest of the ads.

I know your saying that you don't have a problem, but you should be ashamed for even suggesting that dude.

Not me, but I have visitors and etc, what if i were on the web and the ad had some homosexual dating site posted on it, the person wouldnt exactly know its just a ad, which is what I was tryin to point out.

I kinda knew what you were getting at.

90% of my posts that don't have the "f" word in them are harmless jokes rather than flames of other members.

Its hard to lightheartedly joke on the internets.

The advertisements are based on keywords found in posts.

If you say "Gay" enough times, you'll get ads for it.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

Ads are ads. People aren't going to come onto Onrpg, a very obvious gaming website, and see the gay ad and say "osh-" thinking they stumbled onto a gay site. Y'know? Even for a random visitor, it should be very obvious that it is an ad, not the banner of Onrpg, a homo-dating site.

You guys do know that the ads are always relevant to whatever you search often on your computer, right? I.e. for me, I always get ads for games and computers.

It changes depending on your search history.

Yeah I seen what your talking about. They advertise it all the time on my myspace homepage because my orientation is set to Bisexual. That or because it comes up random.
