How can we help you if we don't even know what we're dealing with!
Well everything except the HD is alot, that could be pretty much considered as a brand new pc. Not really an upgrade lol
Just try and tell us your power supply, motherboard, ram, videocard, and processor
Sorry guys i was lagging like hell.
From wat i know is...
512 RAM
Processor is... Intel(R) Celeron 2.66GHZ
I think my Power supply is around 170V
Still figuring out my GFX card but it came with my comp so im guessing onboard one?
Yeah... its Intel 82865G Graphics Controller
Holy fck, a power supply that low? No wonder you wait till it gets cold.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.
Reputation: 198if you plan to upgrade your pc to somewhat current, you are gonna need more than $240....
$$ for more RAM (although thats fine for now)
$$ for better power supply
$$ for better graphics card
$$ for a faster CPU
yea...more than $240. Though if you want, you can look for parts with decent price:ratio rating.

It's not worth the effort trying to find parts that we recommend. Since your computer NOT compatible with anything for the future..So instead of $240 closer to the next gaming/casual gaming computer, you'll be spending $240 toward something that won't last for more than a year, even with upgrades.
Eh, i guess. I'll try to scrape up another 150 and get this 1 http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/A..._Configurator/

I have heard of all of the brands. Wintec is a local brand around these parts, but it performs like any other brand, but is less famous. Raidmax, my brother ran his 4850 on it for a few months before it burned out from age and from too little power, but the 4670 consumes a lot less power. It comes out less, performs better, but will have to be put together by yourself. Putting it together is EASY as saying 1-100. It's a little difficult, but just come back to this forum and people can tell you the steps.
Reputation: 66I used newegg.com or if you're Canadian, newegg.ca. They don't ship internationally I believe. I do suggest you pick my build since you can actually play games with it.Or if you don't play games, you can still get a better performance, with a few tweaking to it. Also, the burn out was caused by a graphics card that require more power than it can supply 24/7, yes my brother runs his computer 24/7, and the power supply can't handle it..But your build shouldn't take much more than 200-350W, which the power supply can easily give off.
