Just wondering, why are you willing to spend $350 on a motherboard?
    O.O

On topic, id rather pick the Asus just because i havent really heard alot about the intel x58 motherboard.

^ Agreed. Is there anything wrong with these motherboards?

Chances are you won't need more than tri-SLI/Crossfire. Which is the MAIN selling point of those motherboards.

i need a good motherboard that supports intel i7 and supports over 16gb ram.. DDR3 ofcourse, but i need 1 to last me atleast 4 years or so

but ive been hearing that the ASUS one breaks down cuz it overheats... (Within the motherboard) for example even if u place an icecube on the motherboard it'll still break cuz of the heat cuz the heat is so deep inside.. atleast thats what a lot of the reviews i read said.,

The ones I linked to both support i7, 16GB+, and probably won't break down in 4 years. I can't prove the break down one since every motherboard will break due to faulty parts, some might last longer than others since they have better quality than others. And that the i7 was only released last year.

Also, for the issue that one is the ASUS that overheats, the other one is a GIGABYTE, I haven't heard of any problems with it.
