Very disappointing. I don't know what to compare it to, but it reminded me of something... Maybe Planeshift? I don't know. My client crashed and then would never start again (understandable, it was beta) but the combat was really slow and boring. The overall feel of the game was slow and boring I guess. But yea I think the major problem was the engine. Maybe it is more improved now but I kind of doubt that. It's too bad though, it looked like it was going to be a pretty nice game.

Aw man I was hoping it would be like Fallout, only online.

Gosh, so were we............................ so were we......

There is a Fallout online though, unless you were talking about Fallout 3. In that case, you need to specify that > Fallout 1+2 were much different than Fallout 3, and in my opinion better, but that's aside from the point.

Maybe the game is better now, I sure wouldn't know. I don't know what I played. It was like a pre-closed beta or something. I don't know what they could do to make it feel more action-packed that wouldn't involve ripping up the engine and starting from scratch...

All of this is, of course, my opinion.

The game was alright. The tutorial was really fun after they fixed most of the issues with it, and the overall look and style of the game had so much potential.

However, then you realize that everything is just really slow and boring. I think if this game would've come out 10 years ago, it would've been fine, but in this day and age /most/ people just don't want to play a slow MMO. They want action, and they want it now. It was fun being able to shoot your enemies, and was a nice change of pace, but they really needed to quicken things up somehow.

I agree with everything you said. Except for the "tutorial was really fun" part. I would replace fun with "agonizing" or "torturous"

Well after they fixed it up it was a bit better. ;P
I just liked going through it because of the story of it I guess. Reminded me of a Fallout style storyline for some reason. And it made you feel kind of important. But then after the tutorial finishes, things slow down REAL fast.

If you want a Fallout MMO in 3D, wait for Project V13

Its a massive crafting grind to get anything worth while in the game. I think it took me around 2-3 days of crafting non stop to make a crowbar. It wasn't a magic crowbar... Just a bent piece of steel.
