Join a party or make one and do those missions. The icon on the map is a lock. Try to get a very big combo multiple times and you should be able to achieve S grade after you finish the stage and recieve 4 items as rewards. I've personally never bought an equipment, I've always used mission rewards or quests rewards. btw what job are you?

Then follow kait0s' advice and go to Sen in Hero's something map(?) for the weapon, but you're gonna have to do quests to get good armor.

Just keep doing missions, such as sungka and kungka (Refering to NA version)
