I'm wondering how everyone gets their used games? GameStop is kind of expensive, and sometimes the disks are scratched and don't work (had this problem with a Champions of Norrath game). I know there are a few online trading services, but I've never tried them.
In all seriousness, Half.com has some awesome deals.
Most of the games I'm looking for (PS2, PSX) are like a quarter - its the shipping they get you on (but, it IS like $3 shipping, they aren't just making it up to rip you off.)
i go gamestop. THough yes their used game price are still fairly high. Also if your disc is scratched/doesnt work then you can return it for a full refund within 30 days
Gamestop for PSP games. Nearly every psp game is really easy to beat / get tired of. Finish it up, return it within 30 days, no questions asked and full store credit. I've gone through about 4 games this way so far (:
Other than that, I don't buy used games really. I've moved to computer for nearly all gaming needs, though I'm strongly considering getting a ps3 soon.
No problems with the games not working from Gamestop, the only issue I have is the general worthiness of buying used games from them. It's usually only 5 bucks lower than the same game new, if that. Only time I buy used games from them is if they don't have that game in a new copy.
If I really want to get a game for a decent price, I generally go to either eBay or Amazon.
