Just wanted to point out that you can add stat points manually on these three games. And not quite sure on some of the others, but I think there's more.
Got to disagree with you in the sense that myself, I do like classes being bound to certain limits, roles (the whole point of a class). Such as warriors being the only ones able to dual wield, wear heavy armor... mages being bound to use clothing, unable to dual wield or use heavy weapons, but making up for it with their magic...
Manually adding your stats or not has little relevance if you're able to customize your character through gear, altho it's true you can compagine: best example for this is Shaiya -> make a guardian/defender with pure REC for physical tanking and enchant your gear with WIS for magic tanking. And so on with the other classes.
Also, thread's got out of hand...

He said when they introduced the custom made skills any previous balance the game may of had (it was still pretty unbalanced) went to hell. Self made skills in WoKf can one hit kill any person even with the best armor and insane HP. I know because my friend actually has the most def/hp in the game and he still gets one hit killed by self made skills. Anyway, thought I would clear that up. Peace!
Reputation: 92Balanced games are stupid. Priest shouldn't be able to kill a Warrior. Healer heals, Fighter fights. They shouldnt be equals.

Healer's WOULD always have a group if they were KNOWN to HEAL. If you take the healing out of a healer, noone wants it.
Yes, healers almost always have some offensive spells. But the spells shouldn't be powerful enough for them to start to be classified as a damage dealer. Then you get people playing healers but not doing the job it was made for.

Reputation: 10100x more complex with 1000x more customization? Really? Games like Ragnarok Online make it so that if you spread your stats around you gimp your character for life and be worthless. If you don't pump all your stat points into your main stat (like int for mages) then you pretty much suck. That's not customization, that's a forced path.
People are stupid. Live with it.

A priest can beat a damage dealing class, but not with damage. Instead, by outlasting the opponent by healing himself and slowly damaging the opponent down.
Every class must be specialized in a certain skill so that you have a role to play in a group. Especially in games like WoW, when raids and working as a team is important. Every class must do their job.

the real priests, in books , novels and old school rpg arent stupids character who only can heal
u and the others who say im wrong cant understand that or never played/know about orginals priest
but is ok , i dont gonna change my mind because u or a few think is stupid
