Default mabinogi heroes and dragon nest coming 2010

    http://news.mm osi te.com/content/2009-09-07/20090907023346550.shtml

During the 2009 PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) run in Washington, USA, Nexon held a meeting with reporters and made a report on its achievements gained in North America and the future development strategy.

Based on the trend of the North American game market and the related analysis concerning the North American online game market, during the meeting, Nexon unveiled its market exploitation procedures in North America and the achievements made by its running games, with the future projects and plans also disclosed.

Check out for more Mabinogi: Heroes videoes

Nexon's popular adventure RPG - MapleStory witnessed a community of 70 thousand simultaneous online players in North America this summer, and its FPS Combat Arms has also attracted more than 3,000 thousand players over only 1 year of operation. Additionally, Mabinogi also kept a double-digit growth in various aspects this summer.

What's more, Nexon will operate Dungeon and Fighter in North America in Sept. 2009, and publish Mabinogi:Heroes, Dragon Nest and BnB in 2010. When the time comes, a total of up to 8 games made by Nexon will be served in North America, and the new game portal Block Party will also be brought online with the community feature intensified. By taking advantage of the said competitive strategy regarding the market exploration in North American, Nexon hopes to develop itself into the best "Free & Live Online Game Operator".

According to Daniel Kim from Nexon America, with the gradual popularization of North American broadband infrastructure, the activeness of network community and the development of Internet, North America has become a market with more opportunities. Daniel hoped to make adequate preparations and had "Nexon" grow to a shining brand in the American game market. Nexon America is a game company renowned for introducing various game titles and adopting the business model of micro-transactions in the United States. And in July, 2009, the company's sales grew by 35% over the same period of last year.

Well now. That's pleasant news. They're getting the good stuff out a lot faster now than they used to.

Sweet, Mabi Heroes looks pretty good. Never liked the anime version of Mabi. Mabi Heroes is more my style.

This may be a dumb question, but what is BnB? Nothing comes to mind.

I Googled it, apparently BnB is short for Bomb and Bubble. A casual online game coming from Nexon.

Aren't they pushing for a global release on dragon nest? I'm pretty sure we are all getting it at the same time.

I am saying it again, mabinogi for the xbox has been suspended and there will be no BnB.. that is not a nexon game.

it seems like all mmos planned for the xbox are cancelled due the new live policy.

I highly doubt Nexon Eu will get Mabinogi because its taking way too long for them to get it, they should have it by now.

Last I heard of Mabi 360 was that they are putting a hold on the project to get somewhere with Mabinogi 2, as far as I have read, nothing to do with live policies or anything, just devcat trying to work on one project to get back on schedule.

in short, ms wants mmo 's even with subscibtion to require a gold membership, also they have something against cross-platform.

Champions online, FFXIV and others are facing issues with live.. there development has been stopped until further notice.

and with XIV they can´t come to an agreement (live again.)

    Yeah, Nexon sucks donkey balls.

    But with Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3, I don't need F2P's.

    Quoted for truth.

To be frank, I'm not looking forward to either of these Nexon games.

well thats good news. both games are amazing i must say...Mabi: Heroes, imo, beats C9's combat system outta the stratosphere with more interactions and whatnot~ sure enjoyed the whole 6 hours of Stress Test a couple of days ago. :3

Dragon Nest is great as well, anime-ish style graphics, but combat system is up there in terms of what you can do.

will look forward to seeing these 2 games to come in english...but til then, time to continue playing the korean version :3
