Going P2P; Need Answers

After a year of jumping from crappy F2P to crappy F2P I'm finally going to open the wallt and try out a subscription based game.

I'm in between WoW and Lotro. I'm currently playing the WoW trial and enjoying it and I'm downloading Lotro to play the trial for that also.

I'm leaning towards Lotro because I'm was a big fan of the books and movies. And Lotro is also 5$ a month cheaper(correct me if I'm wrong).

Questions:

How much does Lotro follow the storyline of the books?

How populated is Lotro?

Opinions on Lotro endgame?

Which game has better PvP?

Which game has more dungeon/instances including bosses, that require large parties?

Which game is updated most often?(I'm assuming both are updated regularly).

i never played lotro but if you like PVP you should try out Warhammer online

Lotr has no pvp. Just PvE, and its PvE isn't that good.

Yes, LOTRO has a very interesting take on PVP called MVP or something like that. Monster Versus player.

I played the LOTRO trial and I thought it was a decent game with a somewhat nice community. If you're looking for a PVE heavy game I would go with LOTRO.

If you're looking for a balanced game then go with WoW.

You're also more than welcome to join my server and i'll help you along the way. (Incase you don't know anything about WoW)

Depends on what you like, i mean i for one thought lotro had better dungeons, more challenging pve and a better story. But then again wow is easier, more people, fairly fun pvp, good pve

Anything has harder PvE than World of Warcraft. I hated its PvP too.
