If someone is going to state their opinion it would be good for them to give a definition of what they think a soul mate is. This will clear out the problems of projecting your definition of a word onto someone else's opinion of it.
I do not believe in a soul mate.
Whether it is the definition of someone made for you or someone who is just like you.
I personally found relationships with people just like me to be boring. It's not fun when you both like all the same things.
Relationships work out because the partners want it to. My grandparents just celebrated their 60th anniversary a while ago and sometimes you wonder how do people stay together that long. But it's mainly because they work out their differences.
If you have that concept of a relationship being perfectly fit between you and your partner I am not sure how long it will last.
I don't believe there is just one person out there for anyone.
For a while, I tried to be hopeful and lie to myself that there was, but after certain things that I've been through, the idea just doesn't make sense to me anymore.
Nope~
I've recently grown less..fairy-tale ish I guess. I liked the idea of there being someone out there for everyone and all that, but It's honestly too much trouble for me to wait around hoping, rather than chasing someone I actually have an interest to.
Can't get results if you don't give the effort. <3
