Perfect World International
Decided I'd give it a shot after quitting more than half a year ago to play WoW. It was pretty good to begin with IMO and just looking at what they have now...I'm amazed to see so few recommendations on here. Is there a reason I'm not aware of that I should probably know?

Way to cash shop oriented. You need rediculously expensive cash shop stones to refine your stuff to +12, and you HAVE to have cash shop heirograms that automatically heal you after you hit 50% hp. Impossible to play the game otherwise.Originally Posted by ZeroleTheUntamed

Think about it this way. If it costs you 100k to get 1 gold in the CS. and its 10,20,30,40 all the way up to 120 in order to fully refine an item to 12. (total cost is around 680, not including mirage stones) Your going to need 68 million to get one +12 item. Oh and good heirograms cost 50 gold.

Ignore him ,you don't even need to worry about that stuff till the uber high levels. It's a good game, try it out.
Plus something to look foward to is a new race that is coming soon with 2 new classes.

Why go to perfect world instead of aion? You can do p2p, why settle for f2p.

I prefer waiting a while after a game's release before trying it in the hopes that most of the more obvious glitches/bugs/problems will be fixed by then. With something like Aion, I probably wouldn't consider it until 2010 to see if it lives up to the hype or flops like Darkfall, Age of Conan, and WAR.

U dont need any real cash to be good in PWI, on higher lvls u can get money easy.
But ofc using real money is more easier, and ofc it will cost a lot if u want to have the best gear in the game, I mean in WoW when would u able to get the best gear in game I guess not that easy so just ignore him.
I like PWI they upgrade there game pretty well but if u play outside America u are gonna lag like hell and I cant stand lagging. Thats the only negative thing I can think of.
