Guildwars PvP Clan.

Out of curiosity. Who here on ONRPG would be interested on forming a GvG/PvP Guild for Guildwars. As a veteran of the game and having played through almost all of the skill balances for GvG, Im currently intrested in creating a guild but I need to find dedicated players who are willing to practise and become good. I would be willing to take players of any skill level, however I ask that if your new and need help adjusting to PvP or learning how to play the game, You have alot of time and patience.

But yeah, Vote of hands for who's interested, if your interested please state if your experienced or not. It doesn't matter but I would like to know. If I can get 6 people that are active and dedicated then I'll go ahead with forming this guild and we can kick some ***.

If you can get several active players (~10-15), I'd recommend getting a ventrilo server if you actually want to be good at any form of PvP.

If you do both of those, I might join. Have a lot of experience from the early days and put in a lot of hours this Summer getting used to the new campaigns and their respective classes/skills.

Getting a ventrilo server is no problem. I know that its a must for any real PvP.

Im sorry to some of you but your going to have to have all three campaigns in order to join this guild if it happens. I can live with you not having EOTN Because only some of the skills (Necromancer ones) are entirely useful, and rarely will they be core in the metagame (again, exception being Necromancer ones)

no point in forming pvp guild when u just start playing game ... because u are going to be owned by every other guild out there ... i saw many guilds that were just created and most of the player were new players couldn't even win a round ... because u need to know build , effective tactics and on top of that u need to be in sync with other people from ur guild ... cuz if not i don't think that u will manage to win ... :/

Used to monk at top50 level from '05-'06, then casual pvp since that point on.
If I actually manage to free the time, count me in, but otherwise the most I'll be able to do is quickly fill a slot/help out otherwise.

What you want is people from the same time zone. It's hard to do anything fun with players all over the world (unless you have enough players in each zone to do an 8man thing).

Like some of the above posters, I only have up to nightfall as well.

Mate, I've been through my share of guilds. I've been to top 100 and I've beat guilds like EW, EF and Supernova Japan. I know what it takes to have a good guild, it takes perseverance and practice. Dont tell me that I cant do it because I know that I can.

Time zone is hardly a difficulty. I'll probably select a time thats comfortable for everyone like 6EST or 8EST.

Also, as long as you have access to the skills it's not a huge deal if you're a beginner. After a couple unranked matches on Ventrilo you begin to get the feel of the PvP and the terms used, and farming Balthazar Faction for skills isn't hard either.

Run through Zaishen Elite and get your 8k faction.

5 skills, 1 elite.

Do it again the next day.

1 more skill. Then you beging to unlock runes/mods.

This. It just takes some time and effort, The main problem with PvP is how unfriendly the community is to new players. Im willing to take my time to coach anyone here into being a good PvP player. But yeah sorry for those of you who dont have all 3 games. Its very hard for me to expect you to be able to participate because often skill builds require skills from all 3 games.
