Default Runes of Magic or Atlantica online?

So These seem to be the most often talked bout free to play games not counting perfect world.

Which would you guys say is better to play and why?

which is more original in its concept?

Which is just more plain fun?

Which has better cash shop with more availability for the real free 2 play players?

Which of the 2 seems to have a better more mature community?

Im wondering these things myself and I'm very interested in seeing what everyone in this community thinks. Considering this is one of the largest F2P gaming sites on the net if not the largest I expect to get some good points on both games.

Personally, i've only played enough to experience gameplay on both games. Can't say much about community, although RoM does have quite a big and friendly population during the times I played.

It all depends on your style of play, Atlantica has turn based combat instead of real time like RoM. I got a little bit irritated at Atlantica because of that, but that's just my personal take on it. I prefer playing my character alone without any mercenaries.

RoM just got a new major update as well, but that doesn't mean Atlantica isn't introducing new classes for your party. They're both good games in their own manner. Although.. Atlantica has a stamina bar which when drains to 0 doesn't allow/greatly reduces any exp you gain.

For the old MMORPG generic feel, go for RoM. If you want to try something different, go for Atlantica. Either way, I hope you do enjoy yourself, because that's the whole point.

Firstly, I havent bothered trying out RoM, but I'll try not to be too biased...

Which ones better to play? Dunno, haven't tried RoM yet...same goes for you question about which is more fun.

Which has the more orginal concept? Atlantica. You dont have to play RoM to see that it's a WoW clone. There's no other game like Atlantica. Turn based games are rare to start with, but then Atlantica has a indepth merc system, and many other systems you wont find in other games.

Which has a more F2P friendly cash shop? Well, from RoM players, i've heard it was very cash shop based. In terms of Atlantica, I can say it's not cash shop dependant at all, and all the items in the cash shop can be bought for gold in the market. Either way, these items arent vital to do well in PvP. It's more focused on crafting good gear, and your strategy and Merc combination.

Which has the more mature community? Dunno, but in my time in Atlantica, I met a total of 1 immature person...which to me is outstanding. You need a calm logical head to survive past level 60 in Atlantica, it's not one for 14 year old brats.

I played them both, RoM is more simple and when I played Atlantica I had a feeling I don't know shit what I'm doing
but overall I like the idea of Atlantica more

Atlantica is the best free MMO imo and easily could be p2p). The game is really something new to the stagnating genre and RoM is just another standard rip-off game...

I'd have to say none of them. RoM is a generic run of the mill MMO where you grind 2 classes instead of one, and Atlantica is also a grindy grind game where if you want to be good at pvp you have to have money, but to earn so much money you have to be good at pvp.
