Default Any MMOs that use 64 bit?

I noticed that world of warcraft uses 64 bit now through an update. But I was wondering if there were any free MMOs that support 64 bit? As of right now I doubt it... I hate the fact that microsoft didnt just make one version of bits or at least have 8gb memory support in them all

thx for ur help if anyone posts.

Guys, Not be rude. But of course they will work fine on 64 bit version of OSs. Im asking is there any free MMOs that are built with 64 bit support? Meaning will I get my full 8gb working for that MMO? Not just 4GBs.

Yah, dont think I've seen any that has an actual 64bit client. MMOs, specially free MMOs pretty much just have a basic 32-bit client.

Just curious... what would an actual 64 bit client do better then 32 bit?

As of now I think its too small a difference to matter (maybe 1-2 FPS at most). Games and applications in general have been slow to take advantage of 64-bit systems.

There are a few issues holding back 64bit software. First of all it requires new tools for programmers to work with and it eliminates compatability with the majority of the populations userbase. The other issue is that there is no real gaming software that even comes close to needing that volume of ram to run at max settings. There is some rendering software used by proffesionals but I'm just guessing it could be 5-10 years at least before that is even needed.

Edit: btw more and more games are gunna need more then 2gb of ram. Or at least mainly for Mmos

like Age of Conan Im pretty sure a lot of people have problems running that games. It even says in the recommended 2gb or more.
ram isn't the limiting factor you fool.
anyone going over 4gb ram is just overdoing it, unless you've set up your computer as a server.

No. I'm a mediadesigner and i need more then 4 GB ram. Some files use more than 3GB alone (opened in photoshop), huge advertisement posters for example.
But i do understand what you mean, everything above 4GB ram is useless for casual(or even highend)gaming rigs
