So, my kitty died today.
While I was at school, my kitty hung herself. No one would tell me until I got home, where my parents and girlfriend were waiting inside. They told me, and they offered me two kittens to replace her.
Obviously, nothing's going to "replace" her, of that there's no doubt. She was my first real pet.
Anyway, sob story over, I was looking for help with names. Serious ones, please. Thanks, guys.

Her name was Sophie. I guess I could do something with that. :/
And as far as hanging herself goes, she jumped onto our freezer and was playing with one of the pully things that work windowblinds. She got her head stuck in the loop and fell.

If your cats are cursed with hair follicles, then perhaps a fun name like, "Smoots," or maybe something playfully ferocies, like, "Sabretooth," or mayhaps an elegant, gentlemanly name like, "Eliot," or "Stuart."
