Anywho, the quests are what gives you healing items.
Later on, you will also get quests(from her) that reward you with healing items just for killing mobs in Sky tower.
I had a feeling that that was the case. I don't particularly care for this method of procuring restorative items though.

Love when people say it's over hyped meanwhile the largest thread I think on these forums (that's not a sticky) is for this game and was made back on 05-19-2006.

People are in denial if they think this game needs to be hyped at all; this game has been popular for years and will continue to be popular for years and anyone who doesn't like it can go back to playing their crappy generic MMORPGs.

Obviously not everyone is going to like this game; and that's fine but the fact is the game is already a huge success.

    I think its alright...

it feels like a 2D dragonica, or grandchase with isometrics..

I WISH the party system was the same as grandchase. Having to party up with the thousands of people lagging the city exit is tedious.. They should have you click on the dungeon and difficulty, and then create or join a room.

The crowds will die off over time; as more dungeon chs are added and more servers are added and when people gradually level up; right now everyone is like around the same level and were all stuck to the couple dungeon chs for the bonus exp.

How do you guys manage to find parties?
I try looking for a map I need and all I see are people doing the experts and master version of them.
I also notice my fatigue going down faster when I do it alone, so I don't wanna do that.

I mean I like the game but I don't see what others see. This is suppose to be the game that gonna be the best f2p. The game where it's gonna blow other games out the water. The game that is different all that blah blah blah. When I see what ppl write about the game I just think of it as an exaggeration. I'm having fun partying with the ppl in the game then the game itself which is kinda sad.

the game is great personally the only thing i don't really like is the fat bar they toke from arad. i doubt nexon will do anything about it if alot of players sign a petition to get rid of it.

Ppl who keep using the game is popular as an argument you automatically failed. Many games are popular doesn't mean it's the best.

It sure helps a lot. A game is usually popular because it's good. DnF is a very solid and well polished game and innovative to the MMO scene.

Honestly the only people arguing against I can 99.9% guarentee haven't been over level 20. Some people might get a little bored of repetition by then if they're doing it wrong, but not that many.

Pretty hard to do anything wrong, the AI in this game is on par with Forrest Gump. If I'm bored with anything, it's that.

I'm really enjoying the game. Every class and subclass is really different, so pick one that suits your playstyle. I'm leaning towards Elementalist (powerful spells, ability to cast while moving, casting/charging speed buffs) and Nen Master (energy blasts, exploding clones, giant shield that prevents damage, etc.).

This wiki is really nice. It has videos for most of the skills.

    Default Defenite change

i personally think it was a good game but the fact that EVERYONE LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME is anoying, big time..standing by the entrance toa dungeon and seeing 10 ppl exactly the same and the same weapon is some total bs, they need to start showing eithersome armor or let you be able to buy some ingame thing with out nx cash to be able to change your char

the game is ment to be like an old school brawler, meaning if two people play as mike haggar, they will look the same.

That's probably the worst reason I've never heard for a lack of customization.

Although, I know there is quite a bit later into the game.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

Then again I never did so it's not really a loss for me; So as a person who doesn't like it, what is this game's success doing for me exactly?

So the real choice is playing a popular game I don't like or, as you put, a crappy generic game that I do like?

    Tough decision, really it is.
Game is popular for reason; tad bit obvious. It's not popular just because. It doesn't live up to YOUR expectations.

So like you said go play something you like it still doesn't change the fact that this game has nothing to prove.

class wise yes, but not everyone get's that xD

but yeah why make customizable stuff then give it away for ingame money?
thats how nexox is going to get most of the cash to keep this game afloat.

I have my issues with the game (1 token a day, exp curve, syncing) but I still very much enjoy playing the game.

Though I've wanted to write up a full review on it, at this point it wouldn't be anything more than a 1st impressions. We are playing the Head Start to an Open Beta that is going to last a week and then who knows what.

Time will tell, but for now I'm having fun, even if slightly annoyed at times.

never said the game was bad just sort of anoying having every one exactly alike, at least playing maple story the armor shows so u can look slightly different, still wondering what happened when u get to lvl 18? and also does anyone know if your char changes at all at higher lvls?
