Hero online is good !

well i tried dragongem and it was ok but it wasnt something i wanted to play for a while. anyways so i downloaded hero online and i love this game ! its really fun and the moves are actually cool. also i like how there are boss monsters roamin about and all that good stuff. its also got some cool upgrading system to improve your equipment. anyways my favorite part of the game is when GMs choose random people to give a quiz ! they do this alot and they basically do it to see if you are a botter or not. if you cant answer the question the gms will boot/ban you or something. anyways if you answer it you get a random fortune case and when opened you get some cool stuffs ! fortune crates can be dropped from monsters randomly.. any monster can drop fortune case but of course the better ones have much lower chances of dropping. i was pretty lucky i found about 6 or 7 of the five element fortune case then i opened those up and got a flowing blue fortune case (cost 160,000 gold to open) and gives armor type stuff and i also got a burning red fortune case(costs 990,000) to open and gives a random weapon thats +3 to +7 ! im so happy i found these ! anyways hero is a good game and if you got doubts about there not being many people or the graphics being bad well none of those are right. its got lots of people and the graphics are actually pretty good.

First the Gm quiz is not really that random, everyone would get quiz. Second you dont get boot/ban for getting the answer of the quiz wrongly.

what if im in the middle of a combat area where people are training, selling potions for them, with a shop?

can personal shops be made anywhere?

you wouldnt want to make a personal shop in a combat area because there are monsters everywhere and most combat areas have npcs that sell potions not far from there.. like a 1 minute walk.

Hero Online got one damn overbuffed class.. Hunter.. They can kill monsters way higher than themself wich sucks ;<

every single game that has an archer class is way overpowered. dragongem, maple story, lineage 2, etc etc etc. its like a new rule if there is a mage/archer class in an mmorpg they have to be way overpowered

I do in games sometimes, some people dont want to walk far , IE hardcore grinders. Good way to make money. Monsters cant hurt you much if youre higher level than you. takes a long time for one to kill you, specially when you regen faster while sitting, and if youre in a combat area, people are going to kill the monsters attacking you.

yeah you probably could do that if you wanted to. anyways its one of those games where defense actually lowers how much damage you take. the lowest they can hit you is 2 damage though. its pretty cool and if you upgrade your equipment they start to shine and at higher levels they are surrounded in fire and some glow. even your armor parts like mask, helm, boots, cuirass, and gloves can get the special effects too. i like that because in most games they only give weapons the special effects and make armor upgrades not change anything.

anyways almost every game has at least 1 class thats overpowered and/or at least 1 class thats gimped. for example necromancer in WoW can defeat any other class if you use em right.

no it wouldnt be fun and thats almost always what happens when something is overpowered. actually it wouldnt be any fun either if all classes were equally balanced so no class was stronger than another so it would be the same thing as runnin around as the same class lol i think the best way to make classes would be to make em all strong in their own ways.
