Why do guys play female characters in games?

I have had several encounters with these people.
many of them use the excuse"girls stuff is cheaper!!" or "Its easy as a girl!!" also have heard "Cuz I rather look @ a girl then guy" along with "Thiz one is kawaiinekodesuotherazntalk"

This is why people have little respect for people online/gamers and calls everyone online a predator these days. Cause little boys want to dress up and be girls. To me its a bit gay.(Its a lol don't rage)

well plainly id like to come out and say this.
now unless you have some deep dark mystic reason for making a girl, their is know reason for it. If its class resistcted for your favorite class that is a legit reason imo
If you can give me a good reason and I acknowledge it, I will take back the gay comment.

My friend made a girl character and had a BF in game (It actually turned out he was a girl playing a guy character!). I quickly broke off contact with him. But im 90% sure he's gay now, he's one of them wiggers.

-there are players that like that their toon represents themselves in the game, so they play male.
-there are players that don't want to stare at a male toon so they play a cute girl toon. I mean, in real life would a boy stare to another boy or to a girl ? Even if it's a virtual item, if they are given a choice, they will choose the item that looks better to them, red or blue, an axe or a bow, a boy or a girl.

Another example, never heard your mom while watching a movie and says "wow brad pitt/will smith is handsome!", it doesn't make her a ***** that cheats her husband. Well, that's kinda the same~

On side note, male players that pretend being a girl for scamming don't really happen that much. Well, I hear it a lot but actually never seen it while I play mmorpgs. And even if it really happens, it's the guy's own fault for being a **** and giving stuff to random people lol

if i play as a girl, it would be because i'll like to annoy the guy that i kill since he will think "WTF , HOW CAN A GIRL KILL ME?

sometimes the models are better for female chars, sometimes the armor looks better on a certain sex, also sometimes female chars have better animations then the male version, I use female undead rogue from wow as an example, female undead rogue does a flip on certain moves, looks cool so that's it really.

The honest truth... I usually play dudes. Though if I like the animations better for female characters I'll play them. In most mmo's the dudes are big and clunky looking while the female characters actually look normal.

So I guess it's just the way I like my avatar to look when I'm playing lol

If i am to spend countless hours playing a MMO, id rather watch some Digital Female booty then male.

Problem with that statement is that it shows lack of self-control. You are letting your biological attraction to women take the upper hand in your decision. Such lack is not desirable in any society, that's why there will be people that look down at you even though they do not explicitely say so.

It is like choosing to eat at a fast food restaurant simply because you are too lazy to wait for a real cooked meal from home or a better restaurant. It shows lack of character.

I'm a fap fiend and even I can control myself while playing a game. Sheesh ;x. I can tell a lot of the people posting in this thread pan the camera down to show their character's panties and make youtube videos about them.
