    Default What are you reading?

I'm sure this thread has existed before but I haven't seen one. Or I'm blind.

I just want to know what you are reading. Just give the title and synopsis or something. I guess I should start.

I'm reading a book which was self published by my friend. He's 15 and it's absolutely brilliant. Now him being 15 it doesn't sound interesting at all. It's aimed toward an adult audience. It's extremely disturbing. However, I must say that the book really grabs you.

A fallen star leads a curious teenage girl and her mild-mannered friend to a world of angels, hidden inside the cosmos, a world teetering on the brink of destruction in this grim fantasy that asks the reader if they would save the world, or sacrifice it for their loved ones. I'll not say. was written by first-time author, I'll not say. (born February 16, 1994)
    That's the synopsis.

    So, What is onRPG reading?

Recently finished Frankenstein, which was genius. Hard to believe she was 19 years old when she wrote it.

And I've been reading Battle Royale.

Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin.

TL;DR - some dude goes to ****stan and builds schools. **** yeah.

States Of Mind by Brad Herzog.

TL;DR - some dude travels to small shitty towns to find stuff out about things.

Well obviously I wasn't really tryin too hard to describe them.

There aren't no fancy wizards or big green monsters or sparkly vampires in em but they are still good reads.

The legend of Sigurd and Gundrún.

tl;dr - a whole book written in poem style. I can't follow anything that's happening in it.

edit: to give you an idea how it looks:

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

    That's a genius book.

It's sad that you're only discovering it for English class.
