Default My last HDTV thread sorry -_-

I finally saved up enough money to pick up my t.v possibly tomorrow ..
    So i am leaning towards a 32" Samsung for $450 + $50 for the 2 year insurance.

Planning on using my New to come HDTV for my xbox360 will i need any extra cables to have it functioning correctly?

For example the PS3 needs the HDMI cable. The 360 does not need that, correct?

Yeah, get an HDMI cable if you want better quality.

But the TV should be able to used the standard definition cables that came with the XBOX.

The newer Xbox 360's have an HDMI Output on the back of them so might as well use it right?

I think you can buy an adapter that plugs into the regular AV Cable ports to switch it to HDMI

Extended warranty is useless, If the tv will fail it will fail within the first few months.

    Yes, you're getting the Samsung!

    Quality products at good prices.

HDMI cables are pretty cheap if you know where to look. You don't need those expensive ones like Monster.

    I found a $20 one.

My HD TV isn't Samsung, by my cellphone and computer monitor are. So you're getting good stuff.

I'd say unless you have room, anything over "42 is killer.

I just bought my parents one much bigger than that, and to be fair, it's not that much of a difference. You'll be fine with a "32.

All the older 360 models (the ones that don't have HDMI ports) should have component cables. Those cables are HD compatible. I used them on my friend's HD TV. And most HD TVs should have component female parts.

Just make sure to change the switch from "TV" to "HDTV".

    Those ^^
