I've had Demon's Souls for about 5 months by now, and I've played through the entire game 5 times so far.

In my opinion it's definitely one of the best PS3 games released.

The chinese/korean had an english text option.
Only difference between the foreign and US version is minor translation changes and servers.

Serverwise, the chinese/korean/japanese players are split from US players.
Not sure if a different PSN will affect login though, have yet to try.

Also:
You must beat the 1-1 boss (map after tutorial) and explore the Nexus after to get the co-op items.
