Reputation: 66I'd just get a whole new computer then.Upgrading that, is not worth it anymore. Are there any specific requirements for the new build?
Why is it not worth it when buying a whole new computer is? You can just replace what's needed, not like paying 400$ for a new case, MB, OS and all that shit's worth it when i've already got it here and just don't have the most amazing(and overpriced) hardware on the market :\
I still get 40 FPS in WAR, I just want to be able to record footage better than 10-20 FPS. Don't need that much improvement, probably just processor and vid card
Reputation: 733With that budget (looking at 1000$) you can get an intel i5, ddr3 ram and a GPU that is tons better then your current one. Socket 939 died ages ago, so ebay will most likely be your only place to find a CPU on that socket.
You can reuse your case, OS, dvd and HDD, so we can cut that off the price too.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.
Well just because I can spend 1000 doesn't mean I want to ): As stated in OP, I'm looking to upgrade a bit. Not looking for an overhaul, or a massive system upgrade. Just a bit of improvement. Like.. "Hey you should go get a better processor, such as (insert processor that would be an upgrade here) and then later a better gpu such as (insert graphics card that would be an improvement here).
