Reputation: 37anarchy is one of the best if not "the best" mmo out there personal opinion of course. if u havnt played give it a go.
an like said before dont let the steep learning curve drive u away. it will change the way you look at mmos for ever lawl. an im not being some melo dramatic fan boi lol. its on a serious note. its easy yet complex when needed to master =)
very fun game i loved every day i played. w8ing on the gfx update to come back =).
Reputation: 206Do people really still do computer missions? I always leveled much quicker going straight to the subway right after getting off of the tutorial island. Then going to ToTW directly after getting kicked out of the subway. @_@ Got to 55 that way.
Anyway, like they said. It's a little overwhelming at first, since the stats are really varied, and the weapons require stats, not level. Though that kind of falls into the ***** and gimping category, which is awesome with the implants and traders boosting your stats and all that. There's a lot to do, really. I just kind of dried it out when I got to 200. xD
Reputation: 344I use to play AO even before it went free... It is the best mmo of its time. Super complex but still totally fun. A very massive world... A lovely war between two factions... Alien raids... Cool classes... The list goes on. I use to play a soldier and an agent as my two mains. But I also had most of the other classes as well, just no where as high. I played the hell out of the game, and I'd totally recommend AO and the expansions. Other then the graphics, the game is grade A. I just don't play anymore because I already played it to the point of me putting it down for good.

I would totally give Anarchy another try (used to play way back when, before Shadowlands and Notum Wars came out), if I had some kind of confirmation that the population was thriving or at least on the rise.
I really don't feel like investing money in a dying game. And I know there's a free version, but I asked around and you really cant compete in the free version with the people that own the expansions... not to mention I'm sure the expansion content comes with it's own fun and benefits.
Eh... I'll give the free version a try. It'll be interesting to see how my laptop handles it. It was one of those MMORPG's I ALWAYS went back to.
Reputation: 206Ah, that explains it. xD
I always played with friends, started together and only leveled together. We would pick up other people as we made our way to workmen, and eventuallly mutants.
God, the best feeling ever was when we got revenge on ****ing Eumenides..That big headed agrro having 300dmg popping asshole..
