I shat bricks because I thought it was one of those Gravitational behemoths.
It'd pwn if they could get more out of solar energy with this though.

Pretty awesome, and whats better is that i plan on going into research about these things when i grow up!
So epic to see how far we've gotten now. Hard to think what will be engineered out there in 10 years
Oh god does it lead to hell?
Because if it does, Atlus can tell the future and they do it by putting it in their Shin Megami Tensei games
Lets just hope NASA doesn't send 2 spacecrafts into the hole.
Can't black holes somehow distort time itself?

WHAT THE HELL??! THEY CAN BEND LIGHT WITH ELECTROMAGNETISM?!!?!? No.
What they did was place cylinders of glass with different refractive index inside eachother, so that incident light tends to get reflected towards the center of the cylinders.
It's a mildly interesting implementation of refraction, but it's got absolutely nothing at all to do with black holes, in any way, shape or form. Call me when they can actually bend light with electromagnetism, THAT would be a massive breakthrough.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.
