    Really?

I am actually 15 100lbs 5'5 Blonde with 24c. That way, I'm not petite, but I still have enough.

I also am vulnerable and dislike my parents, often shutting my doors and listening to loud rap music.

I think it is because youths are competitive and online gaming offers competition between people from all around the world.

“At least there are no disaster occurrences in-game, excluding lags and company issues. All in all it is a safe ground for us, and sometimes we forget even for a brief period of time that some of my family members got killed in an accident.”

I'm a bit addicted to the computer, i'll admit it - but I don't just blow off my responsibilities due to online gaming (I have once or twice, but human beings make mistakes.) If I need to revise, i'll revise. If I need to do coursework, i'll do coursework.

Sad to say it but lately youngsters neglects thier responsibilities these days... (not all take note of that but mostly)

    ------------------ edit*

Yep.. Thanks to you guys I passed the article lol.. I know some will agree and some will not. Well, my proff said I should shorten it a bit so this is the outcome that made my grade wow.. :3 horaay!~

I'l share the article that I passed..

Why youth are Hooked to Online Gaming

“I played the game for three years now because this is where I found Friends who share the same level of interest as I do. Friends that cannot be seen in-real or at close range like classmates, but friends who can offer a relationship that could stand the test of time.”
This is the exact statement of a student who was scolded by his father after he was caught playing an Online Game during the times he should be in class. Computer addiction could be very alarming as told by the experts in Human Behavior, but have they asked why children of today are pulled into the game?
One of the main advantages of having an Internet Connection is the opportunity to reach out other people, wherever they are or whatever time zone they are in. As long as you are online, the possibilities are endless. An Online Games is one of the possibilities you could think of.

    Is it for Companionship?

-In Online Games you can be someone that is really not you. Or you can be popular by showing your true self which the people in your place can’t seem to appreciate. Or you can gain friends, interact with the same level as you are, or be someone who everyone wants to be. Just like coming out of a tight shell, they can have the access to express themselves without worrying if they offended some or break rules because, well it’s just an internet!
Being lonely because you’re a shy or quiet type but once you type something on your keyboard you start talking like it’s not really you? Some can easily express themselves because they know no one will know it’s them. You are just one out of billions of people who is living in this world. Of course you won’t be recognized by anyone that easily, and by expressing yourself freely without boundaries and someone noticed you and accepted you from who you are, you start to feel relief and be thankful that internet work wonders.

    Is it for Boredom?

-It is obvious right? You don’t have anything to do or you want to try something out. It’s like you can choose if you want to play basketball while the sun is hot and up or you can play fighting games inside your house sitting pretty in your chair and with air con/electric fan to make you feel more comfortable.
Laziness is showing a bit but well it’s your life anyway. You’re just bored to death inside your house and the only thing available to do is play online games. At least you can still interact to some people even if you’re not outside.

    Is it for refuge?

-We’re going to discuss refuge. The youth of today, without being bias or one-sided is considerably weaker than the earlier generations. They tend to stumble on the lightest of problems, and crippled on the slightest of mistakes. Online games became a staple “point of refuge”. This world is a natural disaster playground. We have typhoons, volcanos, and man-made disasters all year round. An also real life problem occurs too like family problems, financial need or accident issues. Some individuals may lose hope because of this but others divert the fear and condense it to a whole new world found in cyberspace.

“At least there are no disaster occurrences in-game, excluding lags and company issues. All in all it is a safe ground for us, and sometimes we forget even for a brief period of time that some of my family members got killed in an accident.”
    ---------

Actually the hardest debate I’ve encountered is with my dad, and it’s not even religion related. The debate is about what is the good thing in wasting money just to play online games. How am I going to explain this to a work-dedicated individual who never experienced playing online games. What’s the purpose of spending thousands of dollars for a simple pixilated thing that you can’t even call your own where as you can already pay the bills with that sum of money. The debate is close to eternal, but I’m sure some will understand because I’m sure only a gamer by passion and heart will understand another gamer. It is the topic that leads into confusion, questioning oneself, and maybe guilt.

Well I guess that makes sense, learn to balance out things and priorities and you’ll never go wrong with your life. And, as I may quote, “there is no greater MMORPG than Life”.

    Thank you very much!
