I know for a fact this girl likes me from college, because its how we met in first place (Eye contact, followed by her and her friends stalking me outside class) so after 2 weeks, which is how long ago we met everything been fine.

However last night when i told her how I feel and all, she was like I dont see you that way sorry this and sorry that, then she carried on with how things have messed up in the past with boys, which tells me she might have trust issues.

So its like, she is trying to NOT have a boyfriend because of past, she even said she hates relationships whys hould she bother, and she see's me as a close friend. I mean maybe in time we will grow to like each other, till then its all about moving forward. So I accepted being her friend than nothing at all.

Honestly...Make up your mind girls! It pisses me off!

If you have any reputation in high school and your somewhat popular then no one is going to give two shits about who u date or screw. Trust me bro, in High school i was hittin up a bunch of different girls and no one said anything negative except the girls when i didnt want to commit lol. Point is, NOBODY will care if she is shy or a nerd or whatever, if she is cute then go for it. The only person your hurting is yourself because someone else who isnt afraid is gonna swoop up on your ladies.

And to the OP. I know what you mean about shy girls, theyre always one foot in, one foot out. They say they like you, want to be with you, and flirt, but arent ready for a relationship. If her friend is saying that shes liked that guy for a year and shes talking to him, just back off and find some other girl. You dont want to be some girls second pick, thats pretty embarassing.
