Anybody know some good Mod bands?

Mod (originally modernist, sometimes capitalised) is a subculture that originated in London, England in the late 1950s and peaked in the early to mid 1960s


Mod music is usually from the 60's.

Some exampls of bands are;

The Who,
The Pretty Things,
The Small Faces,
ect.

In the 90's, some bands revived Mod style like Oasis.


You guys know of any Mod type bands?

All these songs sound diffrent, but have a similar feel.

Oasis had nothing to do with "Mod" culture. They were the exact opposite.

If anything, they embodied the "Lad" culture that came out through that time. That's what they were known for.

These are not mod bands, they simply had a mod cultural style. Mod was fashion, not music.

However, Paul Weller is known as The Modfather due to his style at the time of that craze. He's from The Jam.
