These kind of games need to end.

One of the worst ideas ever. Guitar Hero was fine, but now it seems like this genre is an excuse for people with no skills to feel like they have, thus making no effort.

It's kind of a massive blow to artistic creativity. If you are so bad at learning things that you can't learn real DJing, then something's wrong, people.

    LMAO I know, right.

Anyway, I think it's great! I mean, as a trance fanatic (and as someone who owns all of the DJ Max games) I think this game should have come out way before Guitar hero OR Rock band...

The idea was already there, they just substituted rock in for some reason.

I know. I'm not one of these folks who said that people should play a real guitar instead of guitar hero, but with the increased amount of games like this, it seems as though the companies are actually catering for people who want to be skilled, but can't. As opposed to people who just want to have fun in a group. People'll have fun with it though, and that's what counts at the end of the day. If DJ Hero makes you happy, go for it.

Still, Chris Croker hero would be something everyone should invest in.

    trance, is, the, bomb!

also, if someone really wanted to dj, they'd actually go out and get an actual set, instead of play a game and expect to learn it. i've not heard one guitar hero player, say that they're good in guitars because they play guitar hero. i'm pretty sure they would realize the difference between actual talent, and gaming.

edit: you beat me by posting first. haha.

I thought about posting this, but rythm games don't interest me that much.

    @Norrin:
Yea, obviousely this will be the death of all creativity.
How many 6 year olds will still want to play the violin in their spare time once they get acess to games that totally substitute that "joy".

trance is awesome. lets just hope they don't put too much techno on there, but we all know sandstorm is going to be #1 on the list.

It sounds fun, i don't have a station to buy it on or i definately would

Why stop a violin, we can have a quartet hero with two violins a cello and a viola! Playing classical music all day.

These guitar hero games dj hero gives people a chance to experience a sort of experience playing there favourite songs instead of air guitar'ing it.

I mean if people buy it to learn which there are a few people they need to be shot

DJ hero however is a tad different, people want to experience the difficulty the style the fun of being a dj without having to spend £1000's

im all for these games until people start buying them to learn.

Eh somehow playing a fake guitar seems more fun to me than pushing a turntable and pressing buttons.

I can't wait till the controllers get more complicated. Next thing you know Guitar Hero players will have tons of small buttons all along the neck of the guitar, all pressure sensitive.
