Well this could be. I'm not rich. So I don't have the money to buy high end stuff.

Also, I haven't used any editing software that I like more than FCP. Avid is okay, but even on the Mac, I don't like it. If FCP was compatible with PC and if I was still a gamer, then I'd probably have a PC. But as far as it goes for creative stuff, I'm sticking with Mac. Especially if an issue comes up with hardware.

PC manufacturers need to offer some similar deals on replacing hardware as Mac does. For $300, you can get everything in your Mac replaced. So if your logic board fails, you can get it replaced for $300, as well as anything else that has failed, hard drive, wireless card, RAM, graphics. All for just $300.

I wish I would have had that with the PC for all the hard drives I went through.

Good Hard-drives have a 5 year guarantee...

As just about any laptop doesn't have that, you won't have the same kind of HD's in there.

I find it funny how macs constantly try to bring Windows down by demeaning it, yet Windows is doing perfectly fine and hasn't retaliated. Lol. PC > Mac for almost everything.
Like others have said, if you don't know much about computers, get a Mac. If you want to get the most for your money, get a PC.

I know use Final Cut Pro on my MacBook Pro with half the RAM, same processing power and slightly better graphics and it works so much better.

Mac's may be simple, but that doesn't mean they're for people who don't know anything about computers. It's simply for people in creative fields.

If I was still a gamer, I would have kept my PC because gaming isn't Mac's thing. It all depends on what you're using it for.

If you build your own pc each part usually has a good warranty on it. If any part malfunctions in that time you can send it back and get it replaced. My video card has a lifetime warranty.

If something goes wrong with my computer I can fix it myself I do not need to pay anyone do to it for me.

a 9400m is very cheap and low end. Today you can get many laptops ranging from 750 USD - 1000 USD which can handle games and video editing.

I found a 750 USD laptop with a 4650m. That is a pretty dam good card for 750 USD. Although laptops are always a bit expensive so the cheaper ones have less powerful hardware.

A 9400m is in the middle of class 3 cards while a 4650 is close to the top of class 2 cards.

It's not $300 per part. $300 is the maximum they'll charge you. If it's just a wireless card, they'll charge around $75 for parts and labor. RAM they'll just charge you $70ish for the part. Easy enough to install yourself. The $300 thing is if you're Logic board is shot and your wireless card is dead and everything is shot too, they'll only charge you $300 to replace ALL of it.

Anyone noticed how before 2006 macs weren't talked about as much. I mean sure they had popularity still but now everyone thinks they are classy for owning a mac when all they did was just buy some overpriced hardware.

If you know enough about computers you can build and repair your own. The individual parts will each have their own warranty.

Most of my computers I have had little to no problems. My newest build from 2007 is left on practically 24/7 and the only thing I need to work on was cleaning out some dust.

I am not arguing that the Mac has a shit load of problems I am just saying the PC isn't full of problems either. They both get hardware and software problems. PCs are easier to fix by yourself and cheaper.

My last mac was in the late 1990s and yes it was working good but all my computers regardless of mac or pc are in good condition because I try to take care of them. Heck my 1988 mac still works.

macs are just superior to windows.

The only thing Windows have against mac is cheapness and the capabilities of gaming.

and thats the best reasons to get a pc over macs. Plus win7 fixed my laptop sleep mode problem. Vista would always restart my computer unexpectedly when i put it to sleep mode. Win7 solved that and im really happy about that.

window beat all OS in gaming computer, and can run alot different programs. the reason window get virus because there tons programming software let you make your own program

the only reason mac cant get virus because apple company make sure no one can create program on there OS. that mean no open source programming and hard to get program

Macs are more secure than Windows. From what I heard Mac can't get virues or any malware, spyware. True, there are some that exist for Macs but you actually have to install them inside your PC to get infected.

(heard it from some that computer geek Admin here at ONRPG)

Mac>PC in terms of social work

PC>macs gaming

And I like the Mac theme and the anesthetic. IT is wayyyy better than PC.

mac cant get virus because it not open source. that mean it can do less thing then Window can do

window has virus because people are able to make program easier and get free compiler programs to make them
