Heroes of Gaia is a free browser game set in a world of swords, elves and magic. Players choose from four races: Humans, Elf, Orc or Undead as they race to build their Castles, amass armies, forge alliances and lead their Heroes on epic adventures to slay fearful creatures of the land.

It's like travian with heroes, an unbalanced cash shop and sprites and all other stuff copied from HoMM games. Think of it as evony with even more plagiarism. It sickens me.

Well since you're a coder, or at least part of a dev team, you should be smart enough to use forums correctly. This game belongs in the mud/browser section.

Oh shut up, the game actually looks beautiful and I've played all of the Heroes series, nothing was ripped directly. Granted it's gameplay is a complete rip off of Heroes of Might and Magic, I've also never seen HoMM come out with a completely online browser-based version.

They've done nothing wrong, and no one's making you pay or play.

Of course not. But when you get a cash shop where people with money get too much of an advantage over others that cannot afford or do not spend money on games, then it becomes unbalanced and causes the company to lose their playerbase..fast.

The gameplay is nothing like the HoMM series. Also ubisoft is actually making a browser version of HoMM that will actually play like the game.

Every inch of that game pretty much, outside of the chat box, reminds me of HoMM. How on earth it wouldn't play at least a little like it is beyond me.

    And link?

I play webmmo.com version of Heroes of Gaia.. You all are judging the game without even playing it. The cash shop isnt actually over powered in my opinion. You get more queues with cash shop.. yay? Who cares when you wont even have enough resources to be upgrading 2 buildings at once when you have played a few days. After 2200 fame you can take over another castle.. so you can upgrade a building at your main castle, upgrade a spell from main castle, train some units from main castle. Im sure thats pretty much all your resources right there until a building finishes or something.. If not just send some resources to your 2nd castle to upgrade it a bit and make units..

I really like the game I have played it more than any game (other than heroes of newerth, savage 2) in a long time already.. The only flaw with the game in my opinion is that.. the top players (im one of them) keep going more and more ahead of the other players and.. your able to attack other peoples castles and with some players having over 10 times the amount of troops as others they can beat a persons castle easily.. then take 20% of there resources.

Thats the reason I think people will quit after getting owned so much. It is a fun game though.. me and my guild (we are rank 3) pretty much owned the rank 1 guild and lots of them quit and went to the rank 2 guild who are our allies . If you like PvE and junk then probably you will be a quitter lol.. if when you get pked on games you want to get better to kill them then you can succeed even if people try to kill you. Once they see that you arent an easy target they will stop attacking you.. (especially if you upgrade your battlements since they help LOADS). Pretty much all the people I attack are people who have quit the game and there castle is still regaining resources since I dont want to lose alot of units attacking an active player lol
