Default What book made you cry the most?

Much like the games thread, but on books.

The rigante novels - third or fith one, when Jaim Graymauch died. I bawled my eyes out due to the fact he was so unbelivabley awesome.

Although I was 5 at the time and I hadn't developed a hatred of text as an entertainment medium yet.

Around the middle of Pet Semetary when SPOILERLouis' son is hit by the truck. It didn't make me cry, but I read the next few chapters in some kind of trance, it was just so sad.

I never really cry over books, but I did once when I was still in elementary school. I was probably 10? or 11 years old or so at the time. We were reading bridge to terabithia, I felt really sad when she didn't make it across. Besides that, I always feel sad or abit pissed off when I've just finished a book and you gotta wait another year for the next book of the series to be released.>

I think Chinese Cinderella since it was quite sad. The crap she went though isn't what you would want in life.

get the audio-book version, it has more closure:

"vot ist zat noise? hauptmann i can hear somesing"

    *clump-clump-clump*creeaaaak*

"achtung! achtung! zere ist a person in here! alarm! hande hoch!!!"

    *bang*

    The End.
