It's not "over" for clans.
You can still invite people to your party, for example your clan members, and do matchmaking.

Reputation: 101Okay, i understand now. Thanks.
Some people are PMSing over the PC version being the same as every other version.
You can watch some dude playing MW2 online here: http://www.justin.tv/illo91?publisher_guard=null
So far, it looks pretty fun, regardless of all the drama.
Reputation: 28Will be obtaining this through shady means to try out the singleplayer and see if I like it enough to buy it...
Lately all the CoD games have been plagued by ******ed and sensationalist story lines, but I guess nobody really plays it for the 5 hour singleplayer anyway amritie.
I won't be picking up the game. Anyone who cares about PC gaming won't pick up the game for PC. It's the same as MW1, they've taken ideas from modders and not credited them, no dedicated servers, no mod support, match making which creates a ping of 100 (on average) and gives IW complete control over DLC pricing.
Why would you want to buy this piece of rubbish?
Reputation: 13Given them their case and praise because nout is different they dont need dedicated servers mod or competitive play
My friend just recently posted this on youtube,
On the video is some COD: MW 2 game play of a terrorist mission.
I actually found the mission highly messed up.
In no game have I ever found killing random people so messed up until this.
It kinda made me not want to play the game and I think I might be keeping that decisions.
Discuss.
Its a game....
Reputation: 424You can skip the level, apparently.
I'm glad they included this, to be honest. Playing the heroic Americans who never lose gets a bit tedious after a while. I still long for a WWII game from the Nazi POV.
Reputation: 118i cant wait to play this now
Didn't they make a NeoNazi game where you play as a Nazi soldier where you actually DO when WW2?
I remember reading that in a game informer some time ago and actually wanting to play it,
And yea you can skip the mission, It gives you a warning before you do start the mission.
And for the person who said it's just a game,
I know I know, But still, The realism to games is like getting to me really.
If this was a N64 game, Screw it, It's fun, If it's like prototype, Then it's fun, But the fact that it's supposed to be based on realism, It kinda gets to me.

Reputation: 13gets on my nerves when those specific people think they are right when they are not, and its only to a game they do it either
for example three of my buddies died in action, guess who these same kinds of people blame it on...the 3 lads that died..yea good job
well i hope the singleplayer campaign is as good as everyone is saying, because multiplayer COD is dead, thanks to consoles and morons, mmmmm, 12 player TDM..... wow. a company releases a sequel with LESS features than its predecessor and everyone goes apesh*t orgasmic..... what the hell????
i cant believe that there are gamers out there playing fps games having never experienced 64+ player gameplay, theres like three people at my work going on about how great xbox and MW2 are, theyve never even touched a pc for anything other than work or facebook.
what is happening to the world?
I have, and actually a console game.Originally Posted by Deimos

Anyways, single player was fun, minus the absolute BS difficulty and forced drama in the story.
