What are the real friends in WoW? A true story.

I don't know to you guys... but its really a touching story... I like to share this and ask for your thoughts about it.... o.0

I read this in a Chinese WoW website today, it's really heart-meltingly touching that I have to post it.

First of all, I have to assert that this is a real story. (Aug.16th 2009)

The guy is 30 years old and has been the 4th Guild leader since open beta, he plays a mage in WoW

He married a girl who plays a paladin in the same realm, and the girl is 26 years old.

this was a happy family, they had never thought that they would have suffered such a misfortune.

The second week after they got married, the girl has been detected for a serious disease called SLE

Her experience let us know how cruel the life is..

but she is very strong, and now she has been fighting so hard against the disease,

The guy is also very strong, after he's been informed that his wife was dangerously ill, he still hide his feelings and told us she is gonna be ok.

He let us know what is a real man..

To save her life, he had already used up all his money.

and this also led him to a heavy debt.. but he still said :" don't worry, she is alright. the medical treatment won't cost me a lot."

His eyes with tears, but he tries his best to be strong

he said he had been looking forward to the wedding day for a long time and never expected she would had fallen ill.

He sent a text to the vice guild master today ,asking him to sell his account for some money. because her wife is dying and he doesn't have any money left .

After learning of his sufferings ,the vice guild leader told us privately about his situation.

all of the guildies began to club together to buy his account,

200 yuan 300 yuan 500 yuan (Yuan is the monetary unit Of China) they sent the money to his bank account.

Meanwhile, the guild bank was crowded with its members , because everyone was depositing his/her gold in the bank. (They are going to sell the gold for real money )

Even though they are just strangers to each other in real life ..

Even though they have never seen each other in real life..

they are brothers and sisters in this world called World Of Warcraft.

He never know why his account worths so much...

but he must have known he has his dearest friends in WoW.

I think it's pretty nice for all these strangers to help a fellow stranger whom they've never met before in real life .

MAYBE , just maybe, those other people have an uterior motive of ****** the wife.

I am talking about the girl, man. She is a paladin.

I'd never congratulate a mage. They are cowards, out of control, and have a tendancy to turn towards the dark side. I am baffled she associates with someone of his "kind."

hey.. i may be a mage, but i normally don a white robe to show that i am of good.

i may be weak, but im normally the one to take care of large groups mind you.

and im glad that people were able to help this couple.

The gold sellers are now indoctrinating you with these heartfelt stories. Making you feel like its ok to buy gold because its benefitting society or something.
