Unhappy How long is too long to play a computer game?

I'm addicted to computer/online games and just wanted to know how many people feel how long is too long to play games on the computer.

I play abt 10-15 hours on saturday and sunday and 5hour per school day but i sometimes play more when i get irritated and angry and less if im not angry and irritated.

Is there any way of getting rid of this addiction to help me finish my work?

Well, I suppose you can use techniques that people use to beat other addictions such as smoking and drinking alcohol.

I say 4 hours with no break is too long.

4 hours, take a half hour break, 4 hours, half hour, repeat.

Thats a little too long, don't you think? School ends around three where I live and you play for five hours on school days? Maybe more? So 3+5= 8 o clock + homework + shower + dinner = bedtime probably...so...wheres the social life?

unless it interferes with your social life, school work, and job(if you have one), then your fine to play as much as you want, granted you keep those three things up to par.

15 hours? damn dude... You can probably go outside, it's pretty easy, all you do is get up and put some shoes on... then just walk out the door.

Maybe meet some people while you're out?
