All games that outspark hosts are cash shop dependent. I've played Secret of Solstice and by reading the forums from other games I've heard it's so bad that some people have spent over $8,000 just to get past 100.
One guy justifies this by saying, "well if you look at other hobbies or past-times, it's not as expensive as buying a car."
