As many of you are aware, America has elected, for the first time a Half African, Half Caucasian(correct me if im wrong) president, who is also muslim, due to his father if im correct. Yet however, not many of the people who inhabit this country are gifted, with..lets say, common sense.
(im going to space so it doesn't look so messy)
To understand, that simply because he is African- American, whom were slaves, DUE to ignorance of human kind (not blaming europeans, nor the tribes who caught slaves and sold them to Europeans), and are stereotyped for ridiculous things, that they don't have a right to run a country, which baffles me.

What Im trying to get to the point of, to cut it short, why are people raised with such ignorance, it will be the fall of man kind one day, though way beyond our time.

Its also funny how he won the nobel peace prize, I read a few people's comments, and it is hilarious how people believe that these events are planned for his downfall, really now.

why are people so color-blind, so ignorant?

yeah I don't define ignorance as lack of knowledge, per se, just lack of what I would consider to be an informed viewpoint. So basically we're saying the same thing, just with different words.

(I don't really care enough to debate the semantics of the word lol)

I edited my post (I would disagree though that one is able to be ignorant when it comes to topics that would require specialists knowledge to even understand).

You can learn the "behavioral" strategy of talking ignorantly a lot, from peers, if they often act in ignorance, with success.

let me rephrase my previous statement as: people most often learn ideas, which those who are part of higher culture would call misinformed, from their parents and friends.

Not that I'm saying that higher cultural ideas are always correct. I believe that everyone should have their own ideas. What I am saying however is that you should expose yourself to as much knowledge/ideas as possible, and then having done that make up your own mind based on what you know.

In the end the only person whose opinion matters is your own, of course (if you have been exposed to enough knowledge/ideas that is. An informed opinion is the only one that matters).

do you think all muslims are terrorist? if memory serves correct, only like 5-10% are? same with Americans, what you are shown is the bottom 10% of the population...what money is to made in showing the smart people..their lives are dull.
